It started way back in Kindergarten when Matthew and Tessa were first attending Presentation Catholic School. According to Matthew, Tessa was his first (and last) crush. They continued to be friends throughout middle school and high school at Saint Mary’s. After their first year of college, Matthew at USC and Tessa at USF, they came home for summer break and reconnected. After some lunch dates, a Giants game, and Outside Lands together, Matthew and Tessa made their relationship official before heading back to school for their sophomore year. A few years  of long distance between LA and SF made their hearts grow fonder. They both made their way back to their hometown of Stockton thanks to Covid, and the rest is history.
